The people of Ascend Elements accomplished great things in 2022. Take a look back at the past 12 months.
“We started the year as Battery Resourcers with about 60 employees and we are ending the year as Ascend Elements with more than 170 team members!” said CEO Mike O’Kronley. “We’ve opened a new commercial-scale battery recycling facility in Georgia and began construction on a one-of-a-kind sustainable cathode manufacturing campus in Kentucky. We also closed a $300 million funding round and won two grants from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) totaling $480 million. It’s been an amazing year!”
