We are currently adding an Environmental, Heath, and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to our team! This role will be responsible for providing full time EHS support to our Westborough R&D and Operations teams in compliance with applicable policy and regulatory requirements. The individual in this position will support the development and coordination of training programs to establish and promote the maintenance of a safe, accident free, and healthy workplace.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Assist all teams’ managers/supervisors with accident response.

  • Assist EHS manager with root cause analysis and investigations.

  • Ensure team members have access to and use appropriate safety and environmental supplies and equipment, including personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Ensure that contractor personnel working on the property are in compliance with company EHS policies and safety requirements.

  • Maintain facility specific EHS procedures for safe work practices and equipment operation.

  • Assist EHS Manager with oversee, perform, and assist with other internal and external audits or inspections.

  • Attend shift safety meetings and participate in presentations.

  • Assist EHS Engineer with daily Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste inspections and inventory.

  • Assist in managing environmental and safety documents/permits on site.


Education and other requirements:



  • BS degree in the Sciences and/or a degree in an EHS related field

  • Preferred: 3-5 years of facilities safety including Hazard Communication, SDS compliance, chemical management

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Must be able to wear a respirator and other appropriate PPE equipment.

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

  • Have some knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.

  • Preferred: RCRA, DOT, HAZWOPER (24-hour minimum), First Aid/CPR/AED.

Primary duties



  • Observe all company, state and federal safety and environmental regulations

  • Perform laboratory testing in the analysis of raw material and finished good samples

  • Perform internal audits (i.e., process checks, ISO audits)

  • Run complex chemical reactions

  • Calibrate and maintain analytical equipment per manufacturer’s recommendations

  • Store, mix, and retrieve chemicals for sample preparation and analysis

  • Manage multiple samples and replicates for analysis over a shift

  • Maintain a clean and productive area by ensuring that equipment and work area is cleaned after use, and the equipment is maintained per the preventative maintenance schedule

  • Meet all physical requirement of the positions: walking/standing for extended periods of time

Material Planning & Logistics (MP&L) Manager

We are currently hiring a Material Planning & Logistics (MP&L) Manager who will be responsible for all material movement and handling for our current site in Covington, GA.


In this role you will be responsible for handling, scheduling, and warehousing of inbound and outbound materials; coordinating internal material movements supporting operations; oversite for all active warehousing sites; and maintaining inventory accuracy utilizing SAP as system of record. Additionally, this position will be responsible for creating operating budgets, streamlining warehousing and logistics processes, and maximizing warehousing practices.

Construction QA/QC Coordinator – Contract/1099

We are currently hiring a Construction QA/QC Coordinator on a contract/1099 basis to ensure the quality and compliance of construction projects, specifically liaising with third-party laboratories for testing and inspections. The QA/QC Coordinator will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance and quality control processes to meet project requirements, industry standards, and third-party testing guidelines. This job is for our current site in Hopkinsville, KY.

  • Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control processes for construction projects, integrating third-party laboratory testing and inspections

  • Coordinate with third-party laboratories to schedule and conduct necessary testing and inspections

  • Proven experience in construction quality assurance and quality control, including coordinating with third-party laboratories

The pCAM Team Manager of the Company reports to CTO. In such a position, the Employee shall lead a team working on the Company’s core lithium-ion battery upcycling technology, specifically the synthesis and scale up of cathode precursor and active cathode materials from spent lithium-ion batteries.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead project team objectives determining prioritization and distribution and scheduling of workload.

  • Lead the project team in developing new precursor cathode products

  • Summarize results data and prepare meaningful reports that project progress regularly.

  • Perform laboratory design of experiments and manufacturing tasks related to the upcycling of batteries and the production of NMC cathode powder.

  • Run complex chemical reactions such as use of CSTR reactors or batch reactors to make NMC precursors

  • Run weekly technical meetings

  • Keep detail logs, amounts, temperature, etc.

  • Troubleshoot issues with equipment and processes

  • Assist in planning and improving production processes

  • Excellent in both written and oral languages.


Education and Experience:



  • 3-5 years progressive leadership experience as a group lead or supervisory capacity.

  • 3+ years industry experience developing NMC or LCO based cathode materials or related experience in the Academic environment

  • BS or Advanced degree in Chemistry, Physics or Chemical Engineering, required. PhD desired.

  • Ability to multitask

  • Understanding of chemical processes i.e. acid base reactions

  • Demonstrated ability running reactions in an industrial space

  • Attention to detail

Chemical Process Engineers – 2nd shift

We’re hiring Chemical Process Engineers to join our team in Westborough, MA! In this role you will provide technical expertise and day-to-day engineering support to the manufacturing facility. This will include interaction with the operations, warehouse, maintenance, and automation engineering teams, design, and modification of existing and new facilities, gathering and analyzing data, troubleshoot problems, identify root cause(s), present conceptual solutions, detailed engineering, equipment sizing, feasibility studies, recommend and implement process improvements. This individual will be focused on benchmarking and improving performance against plant metrics and implementing robust systems to sustain improvements.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Performs feasibility studies for technology transfers and new product introduction. Includes assessment of current Equipment capabilities, EHS issues, and capital requirements.

  • Analyzes process data and quality critical parameters for control of manufacturing processes. Troubleshoots problem areas and identifies measures for improvement.

  • Use heat and material balances, fluid flow/hydraulic principles to troubleshoot process problems and design new equipment.

  • Analyzes batch cycle times. Identifies and implements process optimization improvements to establish consistent cycle times and reduce overall cycle times.

  • Reports cycle time, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and other key metrics for key equipment and key product lines.

  • Investigates off-grade or abnormal batches. Identifies root cause, reports findings, and implements corrective actions.

  • Sourcing the required equipment, tools, and any other materials required to complete projects along with coordinating purchasing for all equipment/materials as required by the pilot, maintenance, and engineering teams and assisting with budget tracking.

  • Manages capital projects associated with unit. Responsible for determining justification, scope definition, safety reviews, ‘ punch-list ‘ items, coordination of implementation with production schedule, startup, chemical commissioning, and performance report on agreed deliverables.

  • Prepares flow diagrams, P&ID’ s, and equipment and control specifications.

  • Utilize management of change for applicable situations.

  • Trains production operators, technicians, and junior engineers on unit operations, chemistries, and batch recipe or DCS changes/enhancements regarding product line.

  • Responsible for day-to-day troubleshooting associated with product line.

  • The employee is committed to and must support the EHS management process to obtain the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification as well as participate in system standards and practices in its compliance and commitment to policies, objectives, operational controls, documentation, system guidelines, and others that the organization subscribes to as mandatory

  • Will participate in all EHS aspects, including reporting hazards, incidents, and injury/illness without fear of reprisal.

  • The employee must follow 6S step-by-step methodology to maintain orderly workspaces and resources thereby enhancing productivity and safety.



Education and Other Requirements:



  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering preferred, others considered.

  • 3-5 years of process engineering experience with experience in process engineering at the plant level.

  • Experience in CAPEX projects, plant design, build out, and optimization of chemical or advanced materials technologies desired.

  • Knowledge of and hands on experience using APQP tools including FMEA, SPC, and design and process validation as well as Lean and 6 Sigma tools a plus

  • Experienced in liquid/solid separations such as precipitation, filtering, drying. Supplier identification and assessment, equipment build tracking, factory and site acceptance testing, installation, commissioning, and ramping to metrics.

  • Experience, judgement, and technical knowledge to drive data-based decisions.

  • Knowledge and experience in continuous liquid process and batch reactions in a series of reaction vessels.

  • Skilled user of MS office tools including Word, EXCEL, Outlook, Project

  • Written and verbal fluency in English

  • Capable of wearing task specific personal protective equipment which may include dust mask, air purifying respirator (i.e., half and/or full faced), safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection.

  • Capable of meeting OSHA standards for manual lifting guidelines: < 50lbs

  • While performing the duties of this job it is required to stand, walk, and use hands to operate objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands or arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch when necessary for job activity.

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.

  • Ability to pass and wear all required PPE testing and equipment

  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures.
